This year ANZAC Day commemorates 107 years since Gallipoli
At a recent Club meeting we had the privilege to hear all about the career of current Chairman of Club Sapphire, Peter Moore. Peter, for a large part of his working life, was employed by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission as a Works Officer where he was responsible for the regular maintenance of headstones, fences and overseas war memorials in numerous overseas postings, including Arras, France, Cairo, Rome, Yemen, Libya, Tunisia, and UK.
