Kris from Bali has contacted Past President Andy again, to alert him to the dire situation her villagers are continuing to face.

At our recent Board meeting held on 3 November, it was agreed that further funding of AUD1,000 would be donated to Kris for her to purchase essential food packs containing rice, oil, noodles, tray of eggs and facemasks for distribution to hungry villagers in Ekasari Village, Jembrana Regency, Bali, Indonesia.

Kris has now distributed 32 food packs and a small amount of cash to one villager, Nengah Rangkep, who Kris reports "needed surgery and now he is in treatment and in better condition, so I hope it can help him to buy medicine or diapers. The villagers said “Thank you for the help and kindness, I hope God will always be with you.  It was so amazing, it’s a happiness to see their smiles. I’d like to say thank you to the Rotary Club of Merimbula for all of the support. It means a lot for me and the villagers. The villagers smiles are our smiles too."  Mr Gede, the representative of Ekasari Village would also like to thank our club for all the kindness and support and care for his villagers.
