Great news, we are back at Club Sapphire for our meetings, so good to see all our Rotarians face to face again.
Our Guest Speaker at our meeting held on 6 October at Club Sapphire was Graeme Wykes from 2SEA FM Radio. Graeme is the Vice President of a community radio station which broadcasts mainly country music and entertainment. All 23 local producers are volunteers and they have approx.40 sponsors. Their funds come from sponsorship and advertisements and recently a grant of $35,000. The station started in 2000 and next year they move into a purpose built building, the newly renovated Eden Hotel Australasia by builder Neil Rankin. They have been given a 10 year free lease. The radio station supports people with disabilities and currently has 4 disabled volunteers. 2SEA will be presenting a live broadcast at our New Year’s Eve market and supporting all of our summer markets.

A wide spectrum of programs are aired throughout the week, providing entertainment and information to residents and visitors across the Far South Coast of NSW. 2SEA broadcasts on 104.7MHZ-24 hours a day,7 days of the week.
