Toy Joy

The Rotary Clubs of Bega, Merimbula and Pambula recently distributed toys, books and sporting goods to schools in the Bega Valley Shire.  The items were donated by Kids in Care ACT with a view to bringing some joy to children in the area who have had to suffer through drought, the bushfires and recent COVID-19 uncertainties.  Mission accomplished.  All of our deliverers report smiling faces all round.  Merimbula Public School haven't been forgotten! They advised as they had no students directly affected by the fires they would like the toys to go to kids more seriously in need. We thank them for their big-hearted suggestion.
