A perfect sunny morning for our Community Breakfast at Rotary Park.  Visitors came to enjoy our free sausage sandwich and a cold drink after a swim or their participation in the ‘Merimbula Float’ where any craft floats with the current from Merimbula Bridge to Spencer Park, whilst being entertained by the melodious Paul Dion and his Jazz Band.

A Community Service Award was presented to Dr Liz Mullins, Executive Director of Southern NSW Local Health District, in recognition of the work of Health Professionals in keeping our Community safe during the COVID period, together with a voucher to purchase a tree.  Our Rotarians will shortly visit Bega Hospital and have a tree planting ceremony along with a BBQ for staff and their families.

Thank you to Za’s Coffee for providing that much needed stimulus and for their extremely generous donation.  Also a big thank you to the Community for supporting this event and for contributing funds into our wishing well.

Our appreciation goes to all our wonderful volunteers who helped make this Australia Day such a success.  Well done, everyone.
