Teen Clinic is a free walk-in service providing teenagers with the opportunity to talk to a nurse in a local GP practice about a range of medical and non-medical issues such as general, mental, and sexual health; relationships concerns, health education, homelessness, family problems or any other concerns or personal issues.

Teen Clinic was born in 2015 in Bega, NSW, where pathways between local schools, young people and the health system were seen as inadequate and challenging. Local nurses, Jodie Meaker and Meghan Cambell, with support from GP Duncan MacKinnon, developed Teen Clinic as a means of overcoming these challenges.

Commonwealth Grants and other donations led to the establishment of additional Teen Clinics in Eden, Merimbula, Kiama and Narooma.  Teen Clinic Mallacoota opened in July 2019 and another practice in the Wollongong area will be opened in 2020.  Sapphire Coast Rotary Clubs support Teen Clinic with financial assistance to purchase much needed pharmaceuticals and resources.

Teen Clinic Australia Ltd is a registered not-for-profit organisation which aims to be sustainable and cost-neutral, with all profits put back into its operations.

Tax deductible donations can be made through RAWCS (Rotary Australia World Community Service) or through links on the Teen Clinic website and Facebook page (see below.)
